How long have you been part of the Marne community?

Other than several years living in the Atlantic area, I have lived most of my life in Marne, Iowa! Born and raised here, as were both my parents and grandparents-Guess I am a life long resident!

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?

Not much on vacations, but have always enjoyed the Ozarks.

What are you most passionate about?

Of course, I am very passionate about my kids and grandkids-love my role as Grandma of 7 grandkids (ages of 8 mos to 20 yrs old).

I love our Marne Methodist Church and teaching Sunday School for over 45 years now. It is a jo to watch the kids learn more about Jesus and follow Him as they grow! We have a fun time together!

I also love my yard and caring for it-growing lots of flowers (and sometimes weeds!) and mowing.

I love antique furniture and such and collect Marne historical memorabilia.

If you could choose any decade to live in, when would it be? Why?

I enjoy many things about every decade of my life-have received countless blessings over the years!

What is one thing that makes you feel better after a hard day?

Being at home is my best place to be on good or not-so-good days. My yard, my flowers and my recliner are good places to unwind and count my many blessings!
